Updates?

Sorry for the slow updates to the blog... been busy, and now I'm sick (ugggggh). I'll be posting some really cool stuff soon: what appears to be a mid-1800s big-bodied (Spanish influence?) "parlor" guitar with Brazilian rosewood, spruce, and a mahogany neck -- also a nice 1920s flamed-maple necked simple tenor banjo, several nice 1920s/1930s ukes are also on the way, a c.1880s/1890s Bay State gut-string "parlor" guitar, and also a fun Sovereign banjo mandolin and a customer's 1920s Martin Ditson dreadnought uke, all in mahogany.

Hi Jake: I stumbled on to your website and have had a lot of fun rummaging through your great collection of instruments. I have a parlor guitar that looks very much like the 1850's fancy parlor you posted. Mine has inset tuning machines, a rosette with the black paste filler, figured unbound maple body and ebony fretboard. No name anywhere on the instrument. It is quite beautiful and plays wonderfully. I would love to get your opinion as to age and make. Is it possible to send you some jpegs? Thanks, Tim

There is no name anywhere on the instrument. It is quite beautiful and plays wonderfully. I would love to get your opinion as to age and make. Is it possible to send you some jpegs? Thanks, Tim
