This must've been an interesting sound right here. It's hard even to imagine what they'd be playing -- popular ballads? Light classical? Dance numbers? Curious.
Nice picture. I believe they were playing some good Southern dance music. I saw cellos in many pictures of rural musicians (black and white) of this period...
