Workshop Note #6

I finally got the neck off of that '46 Gibson SJ and reset it in the wee hours last night. After 3 steams over a few weeks I was getting frustrated and finally had to slip a very fine saw in the dovetail joint and free up whatever-the-heck glue someone used on it (KrazyGlue was used on the original bridge so I wouldn't be surprised by anything...). Now the (literal) crowd waiting for that sucker to get out in the sunlight again should be getting their jollies in the next day or two...
