Rick's Daion Collection

My buddy Rick has a passion for old Japanese-made Daions (related to the Yamaki factory output, but higher grade) and he's managed to collect a really nice group of them over time. The above photo captures all of them and I've worked on all but the two basses. He brought them all out today for a photo-shoot in our garden -- and what's even better is there's a torii in the background!

From left to right, you're seeing a 1981 L-99 Legacy, a 1982 "the '82" jumbo, a 1980 Mugen Mark I (his main stage acoustic for years now), a 1981 acoustic double-neck, a 1981 Mark XX-B Power Bass, a 1980 "the '80" dreadnought, a 1981 Mark X-B Power Bass, a 1982 Savage electric, and a 1982 Caribou.
