Local Flavor: Happy Pumpkin Moontime!

The family dressed-up as Lego Elves this year -- Bonnie and I are dragons and the kids are their favorites (Naida the Water Elf and Rosalyn the Water Elf). Since they both never get out of the river or lakes in summer, I suppose those are good fits! Bonnie made their costumes and I made our dragon masks. We've got wings, too, of course!

Trick-or-treating is done and so is the kiddo-partying, so here's a snapshot I grabbed of our spooky moon as I got out of the car at home.

Our fleet of home-grown pumpkins awaits the possible lonely souls who might venture far-enough south of town to grab some treats. Bonnie's little white one's a ghost!
