1930s Favilla Red-Painted Soprano Ukulele

These all-birch Favilla soprano ukes are pretty neat instruments. They're surprisingly-loud and full in tone despite their humble construction. Said construction is lightweight, however, and the thin top is what gives this the edge it has over other budget-minded ukes (Harmony and Regal birch-bodied ones, in particular) from the time. I've had several through the shop in blue, green, and cream colors, but this is my first one in red. I like it!

Work for my customer included a fret level/dress, some seam repairs, installation of Gotoh 4:1 geared pegs, and a good setup. Its sound is bright and punchy.

The Favilla logo is nice and crisp at the headstock.
