Workshop: J-50 Invasion


Just to make it hard to decide, check out the brace-and-a-half (see comments section) of J-50s in shop -- a '53, '52, and '66 left to right. All good, all a bit different. The '53 is more crisp and punchy like a D-18 (but with that Gibson airy/full low E string), the '52 is mellower than all and is the best for singing with, and the '66 is flat-out loud and very full in the bass but with a more scooped top-end.

Hah! Thanks on that. I never knew that brace just meant TWO of something. I've always used it to refer to a small but solid number of X, Y, or Z. That's pretty funny. Education is wonderful. Now I have to remember this...
