Workshop: Kalamazoo Quartet Neck Resets

Because today was a snowday, interruptions were basically nonexistant save the phone. I did neck resets on four Kalamazoo KG-11s, as a result... here seen in a Gibson snake pile in the store. To top it off, major surgery began on the long-in-coming Gibson Style O guitar that's been hanging-about and a customer's '20s Oscar Schmidt tiple got a reset as well. It's been busy around here!

Did I mention that if you're looking for a KG-11, it might be the right time to get one? These are all the choicest of the lot I have right now with very few (or no) cracks, clean-ish finish, and mostly-original hardware throughout. Two are Carson Robison-branded, one is Grinnell-branded, and the last is a very early-variant Kalamazoo-brand with the archtop-style, bracketed pickguard.

Wow, this is some work to be proud of! Now they just need some cigars and a deck of cards and it will be a real party!

Great picture. An embarrassment of riches...
