Parts: 1930s Dobro Mandolin Moon & Stars Resonator Coverplate

This excellent old coverplate was traded-in towards work on a couple of other instruments. It's an original, 1930s Dobro mandolin coverplate and measures 9 3/4" in diameter. While that's cutting it too close for a full-size 9 1/2" National biscuit cone, it'd be perfect for the smaller-diameter Beard repro cones -- the 8 1/4" biscuit cone, for example, or the Dobro-mando cone they also make. Someone with enough gumption might even fit the 9 3/8" Del Vecchio-style cone under the hood if the tolerances in the soundwell were kept close.

Anyhow, it's in good order and shows average wear-and-tear for its age with pitting confined to the back of the plate. If I were planning to use this myself, I would definitely pop the rivets out of the bridge cover's wings and convert it to a bolted-on cover for easy setup adjustments.
