Workshop: Long Hours, But Satisfaction

I've been putting a lot of time into finishing-up a very special project over the last few days and now I just need to wait for the strings to arrive. It feels so incredibly good to get to this point because it's one of those jobs that's just been a bear because of all the previous mucking-about by folks trying to make it work in the past. And I mean... the way past... this sucker's around 170 years old.

I'm sure there will be some vehement critics of some of my choices in the work I did on it, but that's fine by me, because my view is that these instruments are part of a living history -- not just doomed to museum display. I know this one will be played and loved, so I can't wait to hear what music it will give to its owner.
