Local Flavor: Winter's Here
I took these shots while on a walk with the Missus on Monday. While it may not be obvious, it was cold. The wind-chill was something else and a bit of hail was falling. Since then, we've added a little snow to the yard this week, too. Still -- check out that sun on the mountains! It's the "mournful season," for sure.
I have been buried in my work, as usual, but am making steady progress on a huge batch of Gibson flattops and archtops that are both for repair and for sale. It's slow-going with all of the usual winter's-coming distractions -- folks getting their guitars re-setup as the seasons change them, folks needing stuff tidied-up after the summer/fall gigging season up here, and all of the buttoning-up work to do in the house and shop to keep it warm in those -25F nights I'll be expecting around mid-January.
