Back in the Shack: 1939 Strad-O-Lin Jr Archtop Mandolin
After a couple of years "out in the field," this nice little Strad-O-Lin is ready for a new owner who will pick it a bit more. Its interim owner is mostly a guitar-picker. While all-ply, these old '30s Strads really kick tail and have a respectable, bluegrassy tone with good bite. I always love the neck shape on these -- a true medium C-shape that lets one dig-in a bit more.
