Local Flavor: Sunday Macro Hunt



The fly above is maybe 3/16" long?

Garden season is fully underway here at the Wildwood house. That means bug-hunt season with the macro lens! Oh, and flowers, too, of course. These are from Sunday just before heading-out to get groceries...



This white one with the glistening, alien orb in the middle is on... a strawberry plant! Bonnie's got tons of them in a patch down the front of the yard.



I saw the ant while I was shooting, but I didn't see the tiny guys until I was looking at the photos after. This is on one of our sour cherry trees.


It looks like the red currants are going to be really full again this year.
