1950s Silvertone 1339 1x6" Tube Amp

Oh, man, this tiny amp is way too cute. Silvertone World has a good writeup on them. It wasn't long for the world when made and only had a 3-year production run. Despite that, it's a wonderful little "practice" amp that doubles as a perfect grab-n-go buddy if you're planning on picking with friends in an acoustic jam.

I will say that it benefits from having a decently-girthy pickup on the guitar that's playing through it. While the P90-fit guitars in the shop were rockin' on it, the Fender-style pickups were sounding a little anemic.

I love the handle and curved front-top-face as well as that gold-painted chassis.

This was another amp Mr. Mark brought in for show-and-tell.
