2010s Kala KA-C Concert Ukulele

Hoo, boy, here's a trade-in -- a nearly-new Kala KA-C that was playing just fine when it came in and better-yet after 5 minutes of adjustments. These are $70 new so, of course, there's absolutely no way it makes sense for me to sell this and ship it lightly used, but it's here at the shop for sale if you're in need of a cheap and practical uke.

These lower-end Kala ukes are all-ply mahogany but, dang it, they do sound great for their price. The necks are comfortable, too. Usually their failing points are, however, their doweled (or even flat-glued) neck joints (which can fall apart if given a hard-enough knock), fretting, and setup. This one has escaped these troubles, thankfully.
