1920 Weymann Style 10 Soprano Ukulele

Weymann ukes are pretty rare stuff. This one happens to be one of two Style 10 ukes (different owners) that I just finished-up work on. This one's a bit more beat than the other and has a replacement fret-saddle and a repaired area of chip-out at the soundhole. I also had to do more work on it -- it wound-up getting a neck reset as well as other more-usual work.

Anyhow, these Weymann ukes are basically carbon copies of Martin Style 0 ukes. They're solid mahogany throughout, unbound, and have rosewood fretboards and almost point-for-point identical dimensions and bracing to a Martin. The difference is that the construction (as usual for a Weymann) is a hair stiffer and so the sound is brighter and more to the point than their Nazareth cousins. This one also has a little bit more of a chunky neck profile, too.

Repairs included: neck reset, fret level/dress, new fret saddle (original was in wrong place), new geared 4:1 Pegheds tuners, setup.
