Back in the Shack: 1964 Gibson J-50 Slope Dreadnought Guitar

This well-loved old J-50 is back here for consignment. The owner has been moving to skinny-necked guitars and this just wasn't working for him. For me, this neck is "home base" -- that perfect medium-C Gibson profile with a 1 11/16" nut width and ~12" board radius. It'll be up on the shop this evening. Check out the updated original blog post in the meantime...

Boy, this really does sound older than its years. Great sounding Gibson, great looking too.
