Local Flavor: More & More Snow

The snow hasn't been piling-up too much but it's been snowing since last Friday every day. The roads keep going between clean and perfect and a slushy-slide adventure. One of our local UPS trucks slipped down into a bank the other day just a couple minutes after leaving the shop -- no guitars were harmed, thankfully.

These shots were from when I went out grocery-shopping on Tuesday morning and they're from just over the mountain gap heading towards Middlebury from here. The photos don't do justice to how much of a fantasy-land it looks like up there -- the wind plastered the snow all over one face of the trunks of the trees and then just heavily-loaded it everywhere else. It looks like a model railroad version of a winter scene rather than reality -- like someone just went crazy with flocking.
