At first glance this looks like a fancy Oscar Schmidt (or related: Cerrito, et al...?) build from the '20s. On closer inspection, and given the information that it's X-braced from the owner, plus the odd tuners and...
...the telltale serial (47194) and model (260) stamp in the headstock's top, we've made our confirmation that it's a Weymann-built instrument. Neat!
