2020 Vorson FTLUK-3 Steel String Electric Ukulele

Electric, steel-string ukuleles are mostly not a thing, but there were always a few of small-shop origin popping-up online once in a while. It seems like these Chinese-made, mass-market Vorsons, however, changed all that. They're everywhere.

This one's tenor-scale, has a vaguely-Telecaster-shaped body, and sports two single coil pickups and a figured-maple veneer on the top of the body. Its bolt-on neck is fretted well and the overall construction is surprisingly-good. For the price of these new ($150), what you get is shockingly-good. As per all import instruments of this level, though, it's best to get a good setup done and that's all that this one needed to play its best.
