Local Flavor: Sunday Rest

I snapped this pic from the top of our yard on Sunday, around 4:30 PM. I made a "bench" by fastening a plank to two stumps left from cutting-down some dead trees. I can see the kids wandering in the yard, the ravens flying, and the river sparkling from there. It was the perfect moment after weeks of constant work that ran late into the night quite often. I entirely unplugged myself on Sunday and resumed that mostly into today.

I took time to, ya know, even play guitar and organize my recording station. It's sad but I don't get enough time tickling the strings these days. I'm going to have to change that.
