Local Flavor: Tulip Time & River Wilds

It's finally getting "buddy" around here and the tulips are out!

Elsa and I went on a flower-seeking walk yesterday and these are the results.



The plums are also in bloom and that means that our cherries can't be far behind...



Meanwhile, here are some riverside texture finds...


I want a guitar in that ancient dark rusty teal color!


Some of the wildflowers down by the water are coming-in, too.




Let's not forget fiddleheads and mushrooms...




And, yep, back up-top in the garden the grass-dwellers sure are putting-on a show.

Can't imagine why you would spend time outdoors appreciating the splendors of Spring when you could remain shuttered in your workshop surrounded by musty instruments and their mustier cases...but those pictures sure are beautiful!
