Local Flavor: At the Beach
Last week we larked-out on Tuesday (sorry if I missed any of you) because it was the first sunny day up in our region in a long time. We took the kids to Hampton Beach State Park in New Hampshire and spent the day in the surf. I found all sorts of critters to share -- hermit crabs of all sizes, a nice-sized crab that we all followed underwater for a while, stripers we also chased in the water, and a snail the size of my fist that I wanted to pull up for show-and-tell but couldn't get off the bottom.
Sheesh! I spotted this '50s T-bird while we were turning-around to find some donuts for the kids for the drive home. Slick, huh?
Back at home we found all sorts of rules broken by the cats. Hmmm. Maybe I should sleep on your clothes, Kazoo!
