Local Flavor: At the Blues

I'll tell ya what -- this view does not get old. This was tonight around 7:30 or so. We were just about to start Gardeners' World when I saw the lit-up cloud and ran a couple hundred feet down the street to snag this.

It's also that time of year again -- another obligatory set of shots from blueberry picking over at Blueberry Hill in Goshen, VT. It was hazy, hazy, hazy today.

Here's my blueberry maiden sharing her catch "thus far." The kids were too engrossed in the berries to pose for me, of course.

After picking we went over to Lake Dunmore for a swim. Here's Elsa's "kitty castle." I'm enamored. That "lake sand" doesn't make for great castles structure-wise but this is a great castle nonetheless.
