1940s Regal Mahogany Soprano Ukulele

This cute little Regal uke is a customer's soprano that was in for repair. It wound-up getting minor seam repairs, a bridge reglue, neck reset, fret/level dress, side dots, and a setup. Its body is solid mahogany with very minimal bracing while the neck is poplar with a Brazilian rosewood fretboard.

I suppose it's a Regal take on a Martin Style 0 but it's clearly not anywhere near as fancy or well-built. That doesn't mean it sounds bad or handles poorly, though -- it's got a chipper, clean, sweet sound that works really well for fingerpicking or choppy chording.

Post-repairs it plays on-the-dot with 1/16" action at the 12th fret. It's strung with a set of D'Addario fluorocarbon strings.
