2010s Unmarked Cigar Box Guitar

My friend Phil sent this up here with some other gear as a present (thanks!) and it arrived with a funky-junky piezo pickup installed that was way too body-sensitive. It was also "setup" for blues-slide. I mean -- it's a cigar box guitar!

I took pity on it, though, because the builder obviously cared about that mammoth neck enough to fret it decently and give it a neat "ridge" via a router on its rear. It thus got a fret level/dress, side dots, new K&K pickup, new nut, and a restring/setup for "Nashville" tuning.

Yessir, it's going to be a fun "recording buddy" in the near-future. It sounds nice through the acoustic amp (as heard) but is even more fun through an electric amp with just a hair of grit and some reverb. It turns it into a space cowboy sound really fast.

A Nashville Tuned (High Strung) 6 String Cigar Box Guitar, that sounds super cool.

Nashville Tuned 6 String Cigar Box Guitars certainly are the missing piece of the Puzzle to be added.
