1993 Takamine ESF-93 Santa Fe Cutaway Guitar
I remember old Japanese-made Takamines like this guy from old '90s music videos and concert shots. This one's pretty neat, too, with its lacewood back and sides and cedar top -- plus all that turquoise inlay. Tonewise it's got that bright, jangly, '90s Tayloresque voicing that records well and suits rocky chord-strummers perfectly.
After a bit of glorified setup work, it's back to playing spot-on and is ready to serve. Also: does anyone else love the folksy rosette? This one's returning to the family who brought it in...
