1980s Harmony H570 Marquis Dreadnought Guitar
This guy was a standard "cheap fixer-upper" repair. It reads Harmony on the headstock, but this Korean-made instrument has nothing to do with the US-made Harmony products -- it's "in name only." I'm guessing it's an early-'80s instrument but I suppose it could also be very-late-'70s.
It's the typical import, plywood guitar -- x-braced and with a decent strummer's sound after repairs. Those repairs? Well -- the heel was split and so I reinforced it with a bolt. Then I shaved the bridge, refit and compensated the saddle, and set it all up (plus some replacement tuners). Yes, it plays spot-on. Yes, it's not exciting. Is it meant to be? It gets the job done.

I love the page jake, I check it at least once a week, usually more. You get the most unique randomness coming through. Your extensive commentary is enlightening. Always a joy to read. Thank you!
