2008 Washburn HB35 Semihollow Electric Guitar
The HB35 has been a venerable model for Washburn. This is one of the more-recent Chinese-made ones but they've been made as far back as the late '70s, as I recall. The owner of this guy played it for a good while, as evidenced by light playwear and some water-speckling to the finish in spots, and also added a Bigsby whammy, roller bridge, and Gibson-esque "Custom Made" plate to hide the old tailpiece studs.
I just gave it a light setup and cleaning and it's good to go.
As you might know, these are competition for ES-335s and are built along the same lines, with a big centerblock running down the middle of the body, two humbuckers, and a lot of frets free of the body. The neck is slim-as-heck and fast and it has a Gibby-style, short scale length.
The humbuckers are a little hotter and rockier so if you're looking for a vintage-correct voice, these don't have it. They're much better for modern, driven music.

Condition notes: it's relatively clean overall but does show wear to the finish on the metal parts. The finish itself also has a number of dulled, spotted bits. I can't even get a photo of it that would make any sense but there are a few small, "spot" areas -- mostly on the back -- where it's like there's been a splatter and a tiny chemical reaction that clouds the finish in spots. It's not obvious but I like to be thorough. I wonder if it got put away after a summer-damp gig with a little moisture on it and it just got into the clearcoat? That's what it looks like.
It comes with: an original hard case.
