2010s Jason Twigg-Smith (Vermont) "Krazy Kat" Flyweight Electric Guitar
Mr. Twigg-Smith is a local guit-crafting guru and he's been making local-woods guitars for a while, now. This maple-bedecked, lightweight guitar is clearly a riff on a Jerry(!) axe and combines the experience of a set-neck Gibson SG with the additional tonal palette of a Strat mixed-in. It does this with no active electronics onboard, too, and attention to ease-of-use throughout. I mean -- it's simply a fun guitar to play. It weighs no more than your average acoustic and it's sturdy, cleanly-built, and cool.
The body is thin like an old Japanese electric from the '60s and sports flamed maple top and back caps over a butternut core. The neck is also butternut/maple/butternut in lamination, though the fretboard is rosewood. It has a flamed maple headstock veneer, "Krazy Kat" inlay on the lower bout, and goosed-up appointments throughout.
The pickups are interesting, too -- it's got a StewMac PAF-style humbucker at the neck and Guitar Fetish middle (Strat-style, single) and bridge (PAF-style bucker) pickups. Rather than a 5-way switch, there are individual mini-toggles for each pickup.
"Off" is in the middle while "up" is single coil mode on the humbuckers and "down" is bucking mode/more boost. The "up" and "down" for the single coil middle pickup reverses the poles so you can blend it with the other pickups for in or out-of-phase effects. With the buckers set to "single coil" mode and the pickups blended with one another, there are Strat-like sounds to be found all over the place, though the buckers in "bucker" mode sound delicious, clean, and full. As you can hear in the video, it gets a ton of sounds.
My only work was to go through and give it a good setup and now it's ready to go.

Condition notes: it's quite clean with only a little bit of "shopworn" light scratches here and there on the body. It's not brand new but is essentially new -- he built this as part of a group to go to a guitar show. There's one small blemish/knot to the body's butternut and that's pictured -- on the side, near the endpin...
It comes with: a nice hard case.
