2008 Fender (USA) Billy Corgan Stratocaster Electric Guitar
This '70s-looking, hardtail Strat in an "eggshell" Olympic White finish is a "Billy Corgan" (Smashing Pumpkins, etc.) artist model. It's fun, it feels like home, and it has interesting pickup choices and wiring going-on. It's also a US-made model. This one is also entirely stock except that the knobs are all same-era replacements from my parts-bins as the originals were missing.
I only had to give this a quick setup to get it playing spot-on, but after that I got to play-around with the features a bit. Its pickups are "Billy Corgan" model DiMarzio rail-buckers in the neck and bridge positions and a DiMarzio "Chopper" rail-bucker in the middle.
This has a 5-way switch that works like this: 1 = neck pickup humbucking, 2 = neck single coil+middle humbucking, 3 = middle humbucking, 4 = middle single coil+bridge single coil, 5 = bridge humbucking. That gives you "Stratty" 2 and 4 positions which are a nice counter to the more-aggressive bucker sounds of the pickups on their own. The sound, overall, is still clean and clear, but the bucker-mode selections are definitely fatter and drive an amp a lot faster.
This guitar came in for consignment with all of its original features except that the pickups had been swapped-out to traditional single coils. I had to pop the originals all back in and wire them back up but thankfully there was one place on the net with the wiring drawn-up or otherwise I'd have been very frustrated trying to get it all working correctly. It was a cinch to get it all back in and tidy, though. I've included the diagram here for posterity, too, as the "loaded pickguard" versions use a different wiring scheme than these production ones.

Condition notes: it's stock save for the volume and tone knobs. There's a little bit of playwear by way of small nicks and scuffs and scratches on the body (pictured), but mostly it's pretty dang clean. The fretwear is so tiny that I didn't need to level and dress it at all (which is usually a standard thing I do). It was played lightly and then put away clean.
It comes with: a nice, brand-new, G&G hard case with orange lining and tweed exterior.
