Roll Call: 1980s Epiphone PR-350 Dreadnought Guitar

I'm trying -- not very successfully -- to snag pics of random "short-repair" instruments as they pass through the shop just to put them "in the logbook." This is one from a few weeks ago... an all-ply '80s Epiphone that the owner loved-enough to have me tweak it to make it work.

It badly needed a level/dress of the frets but the orders were to keep work as minimal as possible. It thus got a bridge shave and touch-up followed by string ramps, saddle shave, and setup. Post-work it plays on-the-dot and, despite its humble contruction, it sounds rather full like a '70s Yamaha or the like.

It's, of course, your typical all-ply import (this one's Korean) and while they're tough-as-nails because of that, they usually "could use" a neck reset after a couple decades just like any other flattop guitar.

Oops, did I say that out loud? Yes, there are plenty of 10-year-old Martins and Gibsons hovering at that point right now, friends...
