1952 Gibson LG-1 Flattop Guitar

This was a customer's guitar in for a neck reset, new saddle, and fret level/dress and setup. It's a surprisingly-clean old LG-1 and that means it's spruce in the top, hog in the back and sides, ladder-braced, and very woody-sounding. It's crack-free, though, which is not expected. The Z-prefix serial places it at '52 and it has all the hallmarks of that era save a replacement bridge. Said bridge is nicely-cut, though, and uses correct-looking rosewood.

So -- a show-and-tell, but I snagged the nice pics because it was just such a looker. The necks on these are medium-heft and C-shaped with a ~10" radius to the board, so they feel like "home" to me on an acoustic. I like that Gibson feel. "Home" has been shifting-over in the past couple years to late-'60s Strat profiles and 25 1/2" though, so I might be a traitor!
