2000s Anton Becker Model 1000 4/4 Violin

This Becker-branded violin is a Romanian-made, student-grade instrument. It's quite a bit better than the "fiddle-shaped-object" instruments found for sale in the $200-and-under clubs online as it's solidly-made, sounds decent, and handles well. The fittings are all ebony, the top is tightly-grained and carved well, and the back and sides are solid maple with some mild-medium figuring.

I'd set this up in the past so all I had to do before hanging it out in the shop was a quick tuning-up and minor adjustments. I'm pretty sure it's wearing Super-Sensitive strings and just about anything fancier would give it a better, fuller sound. Super-Sensitives are durable, inexpensive, and pitch-stable, though, which is why you see them on so many student instruments.

Repairs included: minor setup.
