2013 Fender American Special Stratocaster Electric Guitar

A customer brought this Strat in for resale -- he's mostly an acoustic player so it just wasn't getting used. I think it's a winner, though -- it's seafoam green, has the maple fretboard, Texas Specials pickups, Greasebucket tone circuit, second tone control for the bridge pickup instead, quality hardware throughout, vintage saddles, and jumbo frets. The neck is "home base" in that '80s/'90s Fender way and it's a comfortable, easy weight. It also looks great.

Like the Highway One models, this is a USA-made Strat but was intended as a "good value" instrument so the finish is poly rather than nitro. I've never been a "nitro or nothing" guy and I have absolutely no issue with the fact that poly holds-up better and continues to look better -- longer.

There's a little bit of mild wear here and there on the body but it's almost a new guitar. All I had to do was give it a good setup and it was ready to go.
