2012 Fender (Mexico) Telecaster Thinline '72 Reissue Electric Guitar
It's light-ish, it handles like an old Tele, and it sounds like a "classic rock machine." The Wide Range pickups give this Thinline a fatter sound at the neck for sure, but overall they have a sort-of brighter, mini-hum presence to them that makes them more musical than your average twin-bucker Tele mod. You can certainly play a bit of rootsy rock or rockabilly-ish country on these if you want to and that's what makes them so fun for me -- it's a good in-betweener. I remember playing a black '70s one of these in a small Massachusetts music store when I was in college and I loved the thing but didn't have the cash at the time.
At any rate, this is an almost-new, lightly-used, 10-year-old (as of this post) version of the original made in Fender's Mexico factory. It's built to a good spec, has high-quality bits throughout, and after a quick setup plays spot-on and sounds eager. The only replacement part is a non-matching, non-original switch tip. That's easily-sorted, though -- and you. know you want to replace it with a ruby-crowned one anyway, right?

Condition notes: it's clean throughout and only lightly-used with maybe a tiny nick or ding here and there along the edges. There's a little raised finish along the "skunk stripe" seam on the back of the neck but nothing is damaged or moving. I just noticed it a little. I can buff-out or leave as desired.
It comes with: a good hard case at full price or nothing at minus-$75.
