2017 G&L ASAT Classic Tribute Series Electric Guitar

While the older G&L ASAT models were like an "improved" Telecaster with the proprietary G&L pickups and a vibe more their own, this G&L ASAT Classic from the Indonesian-made Tribute Series basically is a Telecaster clone. It's got Tele-style pickups, a Fender Mexico-like neck profile, normal controls, and a '60s-style 6-saddle bridge -- the only not towards modernity, really.

So -- for someone looking for an alternate Tele, have at it! If you're into the G&L thing sound-wise, this doesn't do it. It's much-more late-'60s-flavored Tele in sound and modern '90s or '00s Mexican Tele-like in feel. It's a solidly-built guitar, though, with a nice neck and heavy-duty, good hardware throughout.

This guy's quite clean and after a quick setup and adjustments it was ready to hang out in the shop.

Repairs included: setup and minor adjustments.
