2000 Epiphone SG (G-400) Electric Guitar

This is a Korean-made SG from 2000. I'm pretty sure this was the G-400 model but it's similar to the newer "SG Classic" Epi models. It's lightweight and plays and sounds great after setup. I took it in trade, recently, and am pretty impressed with its performance -- it's got a lot of stuff going for it at a low budget.

The handling is interesting -- it has the body contours and "feel" of an SG but the neck reminds me of a mid-late '50s Gibson neck as it's more medium-C in cut than the thinner necks I'm used to from early-'60s SGs.

Repairs included: setup and mild cleaning.

Condition notes: the frets are only very lightly-played and the guitar itself is in good shape, though it does have some wear in evidence. There's a ding on the back of the neck (pictured) mid-way up, there's buckle rash on the back (pictured, indented finish), and someone drilled an extra strap button hole on the upper horn that I've patched -- it looks like a small ding, now. The tuners were swapped to Grovers at some point and there's also general minor handling-wear throughout the finish. There are some extra screw holes in the back of the headstock from the tuners being replaced.

It comes with: a gigbag.
