2010s Ibanez Soundgear Mikrobass Electric Bass Guitar

The Mikrobass is a neat "in-betweener" instrument. It's very short scale (28 1/2") and about the same size as a normal electric guitar. Because of that, youth players or shorter folks will enjoy it. I'm glad that it's got a baritone-guitar-like scale length, at least, because I often have a hard time playing cleanly on true "mini-bass" instruments with guitar-like scales. This feels more "normal" to an average bassist.

Its pickup setup is P/J which gives you a good mix of tones that suit a large variety of styles and the neck has a fast, modern feel to it with a smaller, 1 1/2" nut width like you'd find on a J-bass. The controls are simple -- volume, volume, tone. The body is quite rounded-off so it fits cozy in the lap.

Repairs included: fret level dress, setup, etc.
