1970s Penco "13" Dreadnought Guitar


This cheap, all-ply, Penco-branded, Japanese-made flattop was in for a bridge reglue and setup. It's along the lines of Guild Madeira quality, so maybe a step or two below a Yamaha or all-ply Alvarez from the same period, but perfectly worthy.

Strung-up, it had a good, warm, strong sound but the neck suffered from being a little wonky. Bonus points to whoever thought 6-in-line tuners would work great on a 3-plus-3 headstock...
