2017 Fender Mexico Classic '60s Jazzmaster Electric Guitar
It's hard to argue with Olympic White and tortoise, right? It'll fit-in with most stage threads with hardly a thought. But fashion's secondary, isn't it? Pshaw!
This guy is a Mexican-made Jazzmaster and the "Classic '60s" part of its title means it bears nitro finish and full-on vintage-style hardware, pickups, and styling. And, yes, after setup it handles like the "real thing," too. The neck has almost the same feel as my "main squeeze" Fender neck but it's perhaps a hair faster and with slightly less "shoulder" on the back profile. It's a dead match for the feel of a mid-'60s Coronado neck I sold a while back.
Anyhow, there's not much more to say than that. It's a proper Jazzmaster. It has that bell-like, wider-sounding, clear-ringing sound that you expect it to have. The whammy works beautifully and stays true even when given a workout. Complaints are at a minimum and easily rectified with the swap-in of a Mustang-style bridge...! ...though the threaded original works just fine.
Did I mention the matching headstock color?

Condition notes: it's quite clean and all-original throughout except for minor usewear along the body edges and a little bit of scratching on the top and back. But, really -- it looks nearly "as-new" at a glance. The headstock has two spots of yellowing to the finish -- one to the right of the label's "tail" and one just beyond the "contoured body" decal. I'm not sure how that happened -- maybe a tuner was clipped there for too long and discolored it?
It comes with: a nice hard case.
