2014 Suhr Classic S Strat-Style HSS Electric Guitar

Suhr Classic S models are like a Taylorized version of a Fender Strat to my hands and ears. I mean that in that they're an improvement in functionality and playability, in many ways, compared to a true "Classic Strat." They sport "Silent Single Coil" pickups which are gig-friendly and practical, have a rugged and useful trem, feature spiffy locking tuners, fast, stable, and modern necks with a nod to vintage feel, and extra curves in their body contouring here and there. They're refined. It's why you see them popping-up on so many big stages: they're familiar but non-fussy.

This one has an HSS configuration (I always think of this as SSH in my mind as I'm a neck-first guy) with a big, rounded-corners humbucker in the bridge position. This has a bit of a ballsy, mids-forward sound to it that pairs really well with drive and gain.

The guitar itself is only lightly-used for being a little under a decade old. It shows a few light scratches and scuffs in the body but the frets are essentially fresh and, post-setup, it plays spot-on. It's also white on white, too, so there's no worry about whether or not this sucker will match your outfit. That's what we're here for, right?

Repairs included: a mild setup.
