2017 Guild Starfire III (Modded) Hollowbody Electric Guitar
Here's a hot-rodded modern Guild for ya! The owner bought this new and then modded it to his liking for use at shows and recording. It's a bit of a Gibsonified Guild as it now bears a fancy Duncan Custom Shop Staple P90 at the bridge (I love these pickups -- they're a little Jazzmaster, a little DynaSonic) and fancy Duncan Alnico P90 at the neck. Tone is, of course, gorgeous with the two of these and very retro. The warmer, wider neck sound pairs perfectly with the steely, snappy sound of the bridge pickup.
Work on it was basically a glorified setup and now that it's done the guitar's playing spot-on and ready to go. The neck is effortless and fast (like the old Starfires) and it sounds the biz.

Condition notes: this was a gigging guitar for its owner so while overall it's not dinged-up or bumped-around, it does show some light swirl-scratching under the tailpiece and some light wear/scuffing to the finish here and there throughout. None of it is obvious or dramatic but it's there if you're looking for it and the camera can't grab any of it. Also, clearly, it's been modified: it has a replacement set of pickups (fancy Duncan Custom Shop Staple P90 at the bridge and a fancy Duncan P90 at the neck -- about ~$400 worth of pickups). The hardware has also been swapped-out for an "antiqued black" bridge, tailpiece, and three-way, black straplock buttons, speed knobs, and black Schaller tuners.
It comes with: its original hard case.
