1920s Weymann Style 225 Banjo-Ukulele

This is the cleanest (and prettiest) Style 225 I've seen so far -- complete with push-on resonator (with nice, replacement leather "grabbers" installed) and extra inlay in the headstock.

For those not in the know, these are "long scale banjo ukuleles" and can be used for a variety of tunings and stringings to suit the player. The owner uses it like a mini tenor banjo, tuned CGDA with nylon-strung uppers. He even has a K&K pickup installed and, after some fuss, we figured-out a way to mount it without too much ugliness added to the rim.

Long story short: this little guy is adorable and sounds lovely -- bright and chipper and happy. It was in for a fret level/dress and setup. Fortunately, the owner brought a box of bridges up, too, so we were able to fit it with a period Grover 2-foot bridge as well.
