1930s Unmarked (Harmony-made) Resonator Tenor Banjo

This banjo is unmarked but I'm pretty sure it's a Harmony-made instrument judging by the resonator flange and headstock style. It's a local customer's instrument and I just gave it a quick setup and hidden neck-bolt reinforcement behind the neck brace plate on the inside.

While it started-off with a bit of a brash, "annoying" tone with a lot of overring, minor damping with foam padding both at the string afterlength (tailpiece end) and a small pad between the dowel and the head stuffed near the tailpiece calmed it down and now it's actually a good-sounding, easy-to-enjoy piece of kit.

Bonus points are awarded for someone's install of Grover 2-tab period geared tuners and also the outline of some sort of '70s cat motif added to the head. Also: "love" scrawled on the back of the headstock. We like mysteries around here!

Maple neck, ply-maple rim, ebonized maple (or similar) fretboard and headstock veneer, simple brass hoop tonering...
