2018 Gibson Advanced Jumbo "Limited Edition" Slope Dreadnought Guitar

I've known this guitar for a little bit and it's been in good health each time I've seen it and stable as well -- I think I've only had to adjust the truss once or twice since its owner bought it a while back. He bought it almost-new and then played it enough to wear the frets a bit so it's definitely been played-in. I gave it a light fret level/dress and minor adjustments "just now" and it's playing bang-on and sounds like a cannon.

For those not in the know, "Limited Edition" really just means a small run in Gibson parlance these days. They only made about 100 of these that year so, in effect, the production run was simply limited

Per the usual for an AJ, it has a longer scale length (Martin-like) and rosewood back and sides. As such, it sounds sort-of like a "very unusual" J-45 in tone. It's got that woody, mids-forward, Gibson tonality but with a strong, piano-like bass and snappier/punchier high-end. For a flatpicker who alternates between chords and lead work, this is a particularly perfect kind-of sound. It also doesn't hurt that the neck is fast and easy, with a slick feel.

Repairs included: a fret level/dress and setup.

Condition notes: this guitar is "near-mint" save that there's a small 1/2" touchup to the finish on the lower-bout-treble-top where the guitar got bumped near the binding when it was new. It's really hard to photo but I will add a pic of it when I get a chance.

It comes with: its original hard case and goodies. There's an LR Baggs Lyric mic installed with 9V battery pack at the neckblock and volume control at the soundhole. It sounds excellent but I can uninstall it/replace it/whatever you'd like if you're used to other equipment or want it "dry."
