1938 Martin 0-18 Flattop Guitar

This is a customer's guitar that was a bit down on its luck when it arrived and has seen many, many old repairs. We got it back into spec, however, and now that it's all dialed-in it sounds oh-so-good with a ton of sustain and rich, singing mids and highs. It's definitely a bit on the beat side, but the guitar was definitely worth the effort.

Repairs included: a neck reset (re-reset, rather), fret level/dress, replacement bride install (replacing a too-thin, much-too-large replacement), minor crack repairs, cleaning, new saddle and pins, and setup.

Condition notes: it's very beat up and has replaced sections of the heel (from where a bolt was installed), discolored finish, nicks and dings throughout the finish, and all the other fun cracks and stuff an old guitar generally has. It has exposed wood around the bridge area and the bridge plate was capped sometime back. Still, now that the work is done, it's in good order and should be good to go for a long, long time, save for setup micro-adjustments due to weather changes.
