1940s Gibson TG-50 Archtop Tenor Guitar

It's been raining Gibson tenor guitars lately. This one doesn't have much to date it correctly, but I'm pretty sure it's a late-'40s TG-50 judging by the logo and features.

It was just in for a fret level/dress, replacement tuner buttons, restring, and setup but might get a K&K acoustic pickup install as well. It came in with a terrible, '60s/'70s-style aftermarket, top-mount magnetic pickup installed. That regrettable and tone-damping device is gone, thankfully, and now it's allowed to get a little punchy for its player when it's dug-into with proper vigor.

Per the usual, it's got a solid carved spruce top and sits over solid maple sides and a ply-maple back. The bridge and fretboard are rosewood.

It's currently strung/tuned DGBE ("Chicago-style") like a baritone ukulele.
