1955 Guild M-75 Aristocrat Hollowbody Electric Tenor Guitar

This is a rare piece of kit. It's a nice, early version of the M-65/M-75 body form with the original, expensive-these-days Franz pickups. It's also a tenor-necked version of it. What you get out of that is a smaller-bodied, extremely-lightweight, comfortable instrument that's perfectly suited to old-style jazz playing, really.

My buddy Jon (a tenor guitar aficionado) picked this up recently and while it has some "hanging binding" at the moment, he's going to have his local builder/repairman (Trevor Healy -- he's the man) go over that and solve a wonky, warped pickguard problem as well. Jon was just up here for an afternoon so my work was just to level/dress the frets, replace a missing bridge (the originals on these are completely odd but I parts-binned/half-made-up the cute little adjustable bridge that's now on it), and set it up.
