1969 Guild F-20 0-Size Guitar

I'm going to disappoint a lot of folks by telling you all that this is simply a customer repair guitar. It's not for sale! I've had a spurt of 0-size Martins and Guilds through the shop this year and the anticipation for them has been intense. I feel really bad having to tell everyone that they're all gone...!

Anyhow, this is a '69 F-20 -- spruce over mahogany, just like a Martin 0-18 -- that Ancel and I have tag-teamed into submission. It got a neck reset, a new bridge made by Ancel (Madagascar rosewood) to replace a broken original, a fret level/dress, new bone saddle, new pins, and setup work. I think there may have been a hairline crack or two that were repaired as well?

Like all of these '60s 0-size Guilds, it punches way above its class and feels great doing it. These guys have good cut and an even voice with accentuation in the mids. They're a little woodier and drier in the Gibson way but have more of the Martin-sounding sweetness about them.
